Here I am going to compile a short eating clean food list, with some tips on what to avoid as well. I believe in an evolutionary approach to eating and exercising, and I base my recommendations on modern science and human experience. I believe that evolution is the right ground to build upon with regards to what to eat.
Diseases of civilization are on a constant rise and modern science and medicine have failed completely in treating them. We need to realize that technology has limits, and the human body is currently too complex for us to be able to keep it healthy with scientific and technological means.
We may be able to cure and treat a lot of diseases with modern surgical and pharmaceutical technology, but these things are insufficient to keep the human body healthy, which should arguably be the ultimate goal. What works for this purpose, is eating a healthy diet and living a generally healthy lifestyle.
Eating clean food list and what to avoid
1. Stay away from things that were made in factories.
This includes all types of junk food and most types of processed food. Ice cream, sausages, ketchup, breakfast cereals, candy, pizza, low-fat dairy and many, many more. A decent rule of thumb is to evaluate if what you are going to eat looks similar to what it might have looked like in its natural state. If not, then you probably don't want to eat it. This rule has a few exceptions such as high-fat dairy, which is considered healthy for us because of its high vitamin K2 content.

It can be costly to always eat organic food, and I don't recommend doing that unless you have the money to afford it. There is however often a healthier, lesser processed option. For example, if grass-fed beef is too expensive for you, then buy grain-fed beef but a variety that looks natural and doesn't have a lot of additives in it.
3. Eat plants and animals.
4. Avoid modern disease promoting foods.
If you follow this eating clean food list, and these tips on what to avoid, then I guarantee that your health will improve dramatically. The main causes of modern health problems are an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.
